Jazz talks candidly about her own struggles as a teenager and about her suicidal thoughts and what was labeled “attention-seeking”. She talks about not fitting in at school because of her mental health issues and the importance of having a friend who was willing to step up and support her. She reminds us it’s important to ask for help and describes how a friend can help and how they can then seek further support from someone older. Jazz talks about feelings of isolation and how to break that yourself and how we all can help. She talks about the effects of trauma and reminds us that as family and friends we are not there to fix people but share her insights on what we can do to help.
