Sharing stories is a powerful way for people to connect, particularly around difficult subject matter.

It is OK to talk about suicide and by choosing to host a screening of The Girl On The Bridge you are helping to remove the stigma and to break the silence that surrounds the suicide crisis. Mental health experts and key bodies such as the World Health Organisation advocate for more community discussion around this vital issue.

Hosting a screening of The Girl On The Bridge can form part of a corporate wellbeing programme or as a standalone event for management and/or staff. Used in conjunction with the clinican-endorsed Screening Toolkit, The Girl On The Bridge provides a safe and constructive way for businesses to bring people together to consider and discuss how each and every one of us can join together in the fight against suicide.

All The Girl On The Bridge Screening Hosts can download a free Screening Toolkit which includes clinician-endorsed guidelines on how to best lead post-screening conversations and engage your audience with the film. PLEASE NOTE: The free Toolkit was designed for New Zealand audiences but international screening hosts will also find lots of helpful content, particularly in the the Discussion Guide, Case Studies and planning your screening event sections.

The Girl On The Bridge is available to screen in New Zealand cinemas. Click on this link for cinemas in New Zealand that are hosting screenings. If your local cinema isn’t on this list, call them to enquire about hosting a screening and ask them to contact us if they are interested.
